IOTEFL Provider Accreditation is designed for organisations that wish to demonstrate that their teacher-training programmes are responsibly designed, professionally delivered and supported by effective quality assurance.
Applications are accepted from established organisations delivering TEFL, TESOL or related teacher-training programmes.
Accreditation may cover one or more named programmes within the provider’s approved scope.
Accreditation provides independent evidence that the provider has been evaluated against published quality criteria.
Accreditation considers both the design of the programme and the organisation’s ability to deliver it consistently.
The review considers the relationship between course design, tutor competence, assessment, learner experience and organisational quality assurance.
